A Pastor and wife Arrested on charges of conversion

On charges of conversion, police arrested a pastor and his wife on Thursday, August 9th, in Bijapur district of Karnataka State.

Pastor Victor Paul, the accused is the minister of Rehoboth House of Worship. During one of his outreach ministry with his wife, distributing gospel pamphlets and doing door to door evangelism, a shop owner requested the Pastor to visit his house.

On the request, the family visited the house and while sharing the Gospel, a man accompanied by his colleagues started to beat the pastor.

After beating the pastor, they lodged a complaint with the police on charges of conversion. Upon the complaint, the police arrested the Pastor and wife from their home in the evening.

"I request each and every member in the Body of Christ to pray for our release at the earliest", said Pastor Paul to a news source.
