Bhopal – Protestant and Catholic Churches have denounced the “biased” and “baseless” inquiry report on Jhabua violence, claiming that it was politically motivated and was aimed at fanning communal violence in the region.
The BJP–led government appointed retired director general of police (DGP) Narendra Prasad on February 27, 2004, as the lone member of an inquiry committee charged with inquiring into the causes of violence against Christians in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.
