Elephant stampede helped in outreach, says GFA

An elephant stampede in a village in India's northeastern state of Nagaland has paved the way for expansion of ministry, Gospel for Asia (GFA) has claimed.

According to a GFA correspondent, a herd of 10 elephants recently rampaged through a small village in Nagaland, leveling everything in their way.

A church planted in the village, eight years ago, witnessed its members scatter, but amazingly, when the believers began to share the Gospel among their new neighbours, they received positive response. Not only many people accepted Christ, but also two new churches were set up.

GFA native missionaries are now leading these fellowship groups and teaching the new believers.

"Now all our believers understand that God works all things together for good. Praise God for using our believers to start these prayer fellowships," the GFA correspondent said.
