Police has arrested a Pastor in Hyderabad for conducting prayer services at his residence on Sunday, 19th August.
The accused, Pastor K Moses, is the minister of Good Shepherd Prayer Fellowship and is a resident of Kukatapally Housing Board of Hyderabad.
Upon complaints from his neighbour, Manohar Chetti, a police officer working in the AntiāCorruption Bureau, the pastor was arrested.
Manohar along with few Hindu fundamentalists filed a case against the Pastor alleging that he was creating nuisance in the locality. The men accompanied with two police men took the Pastor to meet the Circle Inspector of Kukatapally who warned the pastor and church members to not conduct prayer service in the locality.
All India Christian Council (AICC) leaders and the AICC District presidents rushed to the police station and released the believers on bail.
Following day after the arrest, the pastor and believers were freed from court after paying a fine of Rs.50.
