NCCI celebrates Navati, hosts Rashtriya Chintan Baithak

New Delhi – On the occasion of ‘Navati’ or 90 years of Ecumenical Pilgrimage (1914–2004), the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI) called for a Rashtriya Chintan Baithak of Archbishops, metropolitans, Moderators, Bishops, Presidents, Chief Executive and Women and Youth Leaders at CNI Bhawan, New Delhi, on Nov. 26, 2004.

The theme of the meeting was ‘Church and Nation Building.’

In the welcome address, Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Jeyapaul David, President, NCCI, explained briefly the milestone covered by NCCI and the achievements of one of the largest Church bodies in India over the years.
