Christians in Nepal are eagerly anticipating for their first Christmas ever.
As the people are gearing up for the big event, world touring 'Gloria Deo' band will enliven the celebration with their breathtaking music.
Gloria Deo, the International Christmas Concert showcasing talents from different parts of the world will perform in Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 6th.
Following this, the concert will have its finale in the city of New Delhi on the 7th of December. The concert brings together a wide range of musicians, singers, bands, prominent actors, actresses and sports stars.
Christmas Day this year is the first ever in its long history to be marked as a public holiday in Nepal, a predominantly Hindu nation.
Nepal was declared a federal republic on December 28, 2007. As the bill was passed on May 28, this year, the Constitution replaced "Provisions regarding the King" by "Provisions of the Head of the State" - and thereby abolishing the royal rule.
This has indeed rendered more Religious Freedom and peace to the minorities, especially Christians who have been attacked and persecuted for their faith.
