Thirteen Christians killed and three others wounded in an attack by Fulani herdsmen in Plateau state on January 8.
All the victims were members of the Church of Christ in Nations.
The attack took place when around 20 militant Fulani herdsmen with guns surrounded the Kulben village at 8:00 pm.
The villagers feared the herdsmen and flee into the nearby bush.
According to Bala Fwengje, a Plateau state legislator, the attacks came unprovoked.
On the same evening, four students from The Good Shepherd Catholic Major Seminary in the neighboring Kaduna state were kidnapped by unknown armed bandits.
Although no one was harmed by the intermittent shooting of the bandits, four students went missing after the incident.
Christians in Nigeria continue to experience unprovoked violence from different assailants, and these incidents of violence come as a result of Boko Haram and Islamic State West African Province (ISWAP) movements in the region.
