The test identification parade in the case of the nun who was raped during the communal violence in Kandhamal will be held in Cuttack.
The Orissa High Court on Friday asked the state crime branch to shift the venue from the strife-torn Kandhamal district to Cuttack.
"A single bench of the high court comprising Justice B.K. Patel pronounced the judgment setting aside the order of the sub divisional judicial magistrate at Baliguda," the nun's lawyer Manas Singh told.
"The court has, however, not announced any date for it," Singh added.
The crime branch of Orissa police was directed to make an application before the court of the sub-divisional judicial magistrate at Baliguda in Kandhamal district for further action.
The 28-year-old nun was gang-raped and paraded naked on August 25, when the assasination of a local VHP leader and four of his aides triggered violence.
At a media conference in Delhi, she accused the police of standing idle when pleaded for help. She even refused to assist probe by the crime branch, saying she had no "faith" in the Orissa police.
She later however agreed to cooperate after the Supreme Court turned down a petition of handing the case to the CBI.
