Don Moen to perform live in India

India will now get to hear the mellifluous music of Don Moen live as he sets on a three-city tour of the country for the first time.

The 'God is Good' tour organised by The Friendship Club (TFC) will see Don perform at Mumbai, Chennai and Shillong from April 23.

"I really believe God arranged this tour to come together at this time, because this is His plan, not mine. I have wanted to visit India for many years, but until now, although I've tried, it hasn't been possible. But God's timing is perfect!" the acclaimed gospel singer wrote in a letter to TFC.

He added: "My heart is filled with expectation at what God is going to do as we come together to worship. He longs to visit us in ways we've not known before, and worship is the atmosphere that welcomes His presence and gives way to His marvelous works!"

"As God is enthroned on our praises, I believe He will be with us to heal those who are sick, save those who are lost, and deliver all those who are oppressed. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and I'm giving thanks in advance, for all God is going to do!"

On April 23, Don will perform at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai; on April 25 at Kamraj Auditorium in Chennai and on April 30 at Polo Grounds in Shillong.

The American singer has over 13 albums and an impressive selection of singles to his credit, including the ever popular "God will make a way". Don has also received a Dove Award for his work on the musical "God With Us" and has received multiple Dove Award nominations for his songs, CDs and choral resources.

In addition to his writing and recording, Don makes time to tour domestically and abroad and has performed with artists such as Chris Tomlin, Twila Paris, Sara Groves and Paul Baloche to name a few.

Don produced 11 volumes of Worship albums for the Hosanna! Music. His first album was released in 1992 under his own name, Worship with Don Moen. His music has total global sales of over five million units.
